BIRTHDAY PARTY STAFF HIRING

Aspire is now looking to HIRE individuals to join our newly re-organized “Party Team Staff”. Birthday Parties at Aspire are one of the highlights of a child’s year and you can help it be an even more memorable one. If you know anyone that might like to join the “Party Team Staff”, please have them come by and fill out an application ASAP. (Applications can also be found on-line.) Parties will be scheduled most Saturdays and applicants must be willing to work flexible hours between 1:00 and 6:00pm.

Applicants should also be willing to work at least 3 out of 4 Saturdays a month. Pay will be determined on experience and ability to meet the job description and responsibilities for the position.

A “lead” position will be determined for each position with others trained and hired for when the number of parties demands extra help or for filling in when needed.

Mandatory Training: (For those accepted from the application process) Sunday, May 18 4:00- 6:00pm at Aspire in the Team Room

Host or Hostess (4 openings)

Job Description:

  • This person is responsible for the partygoers while they are celebrating their party’s in their individual party areas. Their main job is to ensure that those who come to the party have a wonderful time of celebration after their time in the gym or pool. The Party Host/ess must be dependable, outgoing, organized, always willing to serve.
  • Duties would include setting up for the parties, Tearing down and cleaning up after parties are over, helping greet guests and carry presents and food to directed areas, etc.

Starting pay: $7- $10/ hour

Gym Instructor (4 openings)

Job Description:

  • This person will lead all activities while the partygoers are in the gym. Essentially 1 hour of games and activities centered around 3 areas: 1) Party Bouncer, 2) An Obstacle Course suitable for the age group, and 3) Tumble Trak and Pit.
  • Must be able to lead up to 12 children in the above activities (ages 3-14 yrs old)

Starting Pay: $10 - $25/ party

Swim Instructor (3 openings)

Job Description:

  • This person will lead all activities while the party goers are in the Pool. Essentially 1 hour of games and activities centered in the pool. Final activities still to be determined.
  • Must be Lifeguard certified

Starting Pay: $15 - $25/ party

Front Desk Greeter (1 openings)

Job Description:

  • This person is the “point guard” for the partygoers when they first arrive. Must be outgoing, dependable, and willing to do all it takes to help make the party a memorable one for all that come.

Starting Pay: $7.00/ hour

Trampoline & Tumbling Coach - Our program is growing and we are committed to developing a 1st class T&T program from Recreational to Elite.

Requirements:

  • Experienced coach in the field of Trampoline & Tumbling
  • Capable of coaching Beginners through Level 10 Team Competitors
  • A team player who works well with other staff members
  • Available weekdays (and possibly Saturdays) between 3:30-8:30pm

Gymnastics Rec. Instructor

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic and enjoys working with young kids ages 6-12
  • Basic gymnastics knowledge
  • Physical ability to spot basic skills
  • Organizational ability to lead a class of up to 8 children
  • A team player who works well with other staff
  • Available weekdays (and possibly Saturdays) between 3:30-8:30pm

An important attribute for all employees at Aspire is that they enjoy working with children and are willing to learn how to instruct them in the sport of gymnastics. All new staff members are given quality training by our experienced staff to help them become a valuable member of the Aspire team.
