Dance Staff

Tobin Anderson was born in Mesa AZ. She began ballet at the age of 4 and instantly fellTobinAnderson in love with it!. At age 7, she began training with The Royal Academy of Dance under Mary Moe Adams. During the 2013-2014 season, she was a principal dancer with Youth American Ballet Company under Georgi and Tara Rusafov. Tobin is currently training and competing in lyrical, contemporary, and ballroom dance. She is also attending classes at CGCC for a degree in Dance and Choreography. She loves all forms of dance and enjoys teaching the art of dance to all ages.

Kat Cunningham has trained in a variety of styles and has a minor in dance from the University of Alaska Anchorage. She attended the American College Dance Festival Association in Salt Lake City while performing with the University of Alaska Anchorage’s Dance Ensemble. Kat was a founding member the non-profit dance company Momentum Dance Collective in Alaska. She has been a member of Momentum Dance Collective, Desert Dance Theater and Center Dance Ensemble’s 2nd Company. She is currently performing with Ignite Collaborative.

Tamrae Wright was born and raised in Anaheim, California just down the street from Mickey Mouse! She has tamraephotobeen dancing since she was 3 years old. She trained at a couple different studios growing up, but her most prevalent ones were CAAST School of Dance and Theater in Orange, CA and Hirschl School of Dance Arts in Anaheim CA. Tamrae was a member of Hirschl School of Dance Art’s studio company, Sunrise Ballet. She has been in Nutcracker numerous times, as well as performing excerpts from Swan Lake and as the Lilac Fairy in a studio summer intensive version of Sleeping Beauty. She is currently studying to receive her Bachelor of Arts in Dance Education at Grand Canyon University.

li9_4845-editJillian Smith has been studying dance since she was 8. Her training has included ballet, tap, jazz, and modern but at heart she’s a tapper. She has enjoyed performing in the Southwest Youth Ballet Theatre production of The Nutcracker and the Hale Centre Theatre production of West Side Story. Jillian has danced in the Ballet Magnificat! Summer Intensive and in the Radio City Rockettes Summer Intensive Camp; Showcase Performance in New York City. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at Arizona State University and continues to study tap with the Phoenix Dance Cooperative. For Jillian, dancing is fun! She enjoys performing and is excited about teaching children the rhythm and beauty of dance!
