Kat Cunningham has trained in a variety of styles and has a minor in dance from the University of Alaska Anchorage. She attended the American College Dance Festival Association in Salt Lake City while performing with the University of Alaska Anchorage’s Dance Ensemble. Kat was a founding member of the non-profit dance company Momentum Dance Collective in Alaska. She has been a member of Momentum Dance Collective, Desert Dance Theater, and Center Dance Ensemble’s 2nd Company. She is currently performing with Ignite Collaborative.
TaylorMcLane began gymnastics at the age of 7 and continued competitively until the age of 12. When she began Jr. High she joined the cheerleading team and became very involved with it. In high school, she became even more active in cheerleading and competed with both the cheer team and the pom team until she graduated. Her pom team won State Championships during her senior year. In college, she decided to pursue a degree in dance and has since graduated with her Associates in Fine Arts- Dance from Paradise Valley Community College. Her program was primarily based in Ballet and Modern. Currently, she is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and she plans to transfer to Arizona State University in the next year. Taylor is currently a company member in the professional dance group Mac and Company. Taylor currently teaches Ballet/Tap Bugs for ages 3-6 on Saturdays at 9am, 10am, & 11am.
Miranda Yost has been training since she was 3 years old. She started out at Cannedy Performing Arts Centre with ballet, tap, and jazz. She then moved to Leap of Faith Dance at age 7 (now Creative Edge Dance). She continued her jazz, ballet, and tap training there and added lyrical, cheer, and tumbling. She competed with them in both their cheer team and performance company for 3 years. At age 10 she moved to her permanent home at Dance Theater West. For the following 8 years she focused on ballet, modern, pointe, and partnering training. She performed in annual shows with their Story Book Ballet Company including Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Coppelia, Alice in Wonderland, and Don Quixote. Her professional performing began at age 7 with the Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker. She then performed with Ballet Arizona for their Nutcracker and has performed in Center Dance Ensemble’s annual winter show ‘Snow Queen’ for 14 years. She received an Associate’s degree in Arts for Dance in 2016. She currently performs with Center Dance Ensemble’s secondary company and Ignite Collaborative.
