The mission of the Jr. Sun Devil program is to provide a fun and safe team environment that promotes the development of confidence, discipline, life skills and a positive attitude through the sport of gymnastics.
It is our goal to help each student realize their individual best and enjoy the process in which it is achieved. This is where success lies, and with this in mind everyone is a winner.
Four reasons why your son should be a Jr. Sun Devil-
1) Gymnastics training can develop a top notch physical state with strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, Kinesthetic awareness and overall coordination that can be applied to ALL other sports.
2) Despite the perception that gymnastics is largely an individual sport, we place a strong emphasis on being a part of a team and center the majority of our goals to fall in line with a team concept. It is a team environment and a close knit circle where many lifelong friendships can be developed even from entry level competitive gymnastics.
3) Structure, organization and self discipline are highly developed within our team program and set up our athletes for success in school and other activities outside of the gym.
4) Self confidence and self efficacy is fostered daily as a member of the Jr Sun Devil squad.
