About Preschool Dance
Preschool dance classes are a wonderful way to introduce the joy of movement and music at a young age. In our classes, your child will begin developing coordination, musicality, and basic dance techniques—all while learning to stretch, follow directions, and participate in a group setting. Through fun games and imaginative activities, little dancers stay engaged and active from start to finish.

Jitterbugs is a Parent & Tot class and the perfect way to begin your child’s dance journey.

Creative Movement is the perfect introductory dance class or a continuation from Jitterbugs! It focuses on dance basics, rhythm, coordination, creativity & fun. We require ballet shoes or socks to allow for more success.

Ballet Bugs is our beginner class for ages 3-6 and a perfect introduction to ballet technique. Using creative, play-based activities, dancers start learning basic movements in a fun and supportive environment. Ballet shoes are recommended but not required.

Hair should be pulled back while in class.

Ballet & Jazz Bugs is a hybrid class designed to be 1/2 ballet & 1/2 jazz. The class is typically split; however, the way we blend jazz dance while maintaining the grace of ballet varies each week. Discovering basics within both styles, students will find themselves engaging creatively and establishing an understanding of ballet and jazz.

Ballet attire and shoes is encouraged for this class.

Hair should be pulled back while in class.

Beginning Ballet is designed for 6-9 year old’s that are new to ballet. In this class we focus strongly on the fundamentals, as we begin to teach the classical techniques focusing on posture, and grace. We have designed everything we teach around fun and creativity in order to foster a love of dance.

Hair should be pulled back while in  class.

Jazz Intro is designed to explore different styles within jazz. It is the perfect intro class crafted to inspire. In this class we focus strongly on the fundamentals, as we begin to teach the classic jazz techniques with an emphasis on style, and flair.

Jazz shoes or turners recommended.

Contemporary is a blend of styles, and movement. In this specific class we use a base of modern movement. This style of dance offers choreographic freedom, where students will learn to emotionally express themselves through improvisation. Holding onto foundations of technique, while finding safe ways to uniquely move.

No prerequisites are needed, but a year of ballet prior can be proven beneficial.

Hip Hop is a lively class based in originality, and culture. Focus in this class is centered around grooves and freestyling. Curated to allow outside the box thinking, through movement that is found in various subcultures in Hip Hop and the style of dance itself.

Tennis shoes are required, but will not always be worn to dance.
